ACLS 2 Day Course

The Management of VFib/Pulseless VTach; Tachycardic rhythyms such as Supraventricular (SVT), fast Afib, fast Atrial Flutter, VTach with a pulse; Bradycardic rhythms including Sinus Bradycardia and heart blocks; Asystole and Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA).  Review of Cardioversion, Defibrillation and Transcutaneous Pacing, review and practice in Airway management (intubation and oral airway), IV/IO access, Review of Medications along with dosage and administration for identified EKG rhythms. and resuscitation module (mock code). You must already be able to intepret EKG rhythms in a clinical setting to successfully pass this course. If in doubt of your EKG skill level, consider taking our EKG Interpretation course first.
If this your first time taking ACLS, it is expected that you will purchase the book.  You can purchase a textbook at Majors Medical Bookstore.

Upon registration and payment of course, you will receive via email (within 24-28 hours) a study guide with links to videos reviewing the Medications, Interventions and an online pretest to take PRIOR to class and will give you feedback.  All of this helps prepare you for the class.

 Prerequisites: AHA BLS Certification and must be able to interpret EKG rhythms such as VTach, VFib, SVT, PEA, etc. If in doubt of your EKG skill level, consider taking our EKG Interpretation course first.
 Awards: American Heart Association 2 year ACLS for Healthcare Providers Certification card upon successful completion of skills and written test.

Who is this for?

Healthcare providers in the more acute care areas such as ER, ICUs, Day Surgeries, Recovery Room. If you are not an experienced healthcare provider please contact us to see if this is a valid class for you. This two day ACLS class is for those ACLS providers that do not use their skills on a regular basis.
